Something was different, new staff, new owners, no idea, a shame that a change is not communicated. The food was great, hearty, spicy cabbage rolls with a wonderful brown sauce and delicious potatoes. Wine selection by local standards is still huge and the trademark has remained, glass filled to the brim. The audience also seems to be mixed up a bit, of course many seniors, but also young families and young couples. Feature: must survive covid

Good restaurant with delicious food and friendly staff. I'm taking off one star because of the toilets. These are outside and were only sparsely heated. One should improve here. Otherwise I can recommend the restaurant. The hygiene standards were also observed.

Very cozy with top staff and a boss who lives the service concept. Very good quality of the food and a great way of serving the wine - but won't be revealed. A visit is a must! Make a reservation in advance.

Well-known rustic and popular wine house in Bad Honnef. very good food and a small, clear menu with fresh offers from the area. Weinhaus Steinbach has had a new tenant for a year now, and the kitchen and staff work together perfectly. The fried potatoes could have been a little crispier but all in all a good tip for good food and a cozy evening

On Wednesday we went to the Weinhaus Steinbach for the first time so that we could experience the much-praised outdoor ambience this year. Our expectations were accordingly high, but they were even exceeded. You sit there in a beautiful inner courtyard, the wine grows above your heads, pleasant music is playing in the background, everything is beautifully lit and the atmosphere - without wanting to exaggerate - has something magical. The food was delicious, we had the Rommersdorfer grill pan, the vegetarian grill pan and the rump steak. All of them highly recommended. The meat was fried to the point. I would like to especially mention the great service. We'll definitely be back soon.

Delicious dishes, including tarte flambée, at local prices. The fried potatoes are highly recommended. The wine list leaves little to be desired. Many good wines from Germany, but also from elsewhere. The wine is restricted to the brim so that one has to bow to the wine to drink it. 😉

Well run and busy restaurant. Friendly and attentive staff. Delicious dishes that are worth their price. Shady beer garden through the vines that act as a natural roof.

Very tasty food. In a great atmosphere. The waitresses were all very nice and always available. A definite MUST when you are in the area.

Oops, what was that? A little hidden and then, lo and behold, a Rhineland gem, a jewel! Immediately holiday feelings, smiling faces and very friendly and attentive service, despite the high summer activity. All attention! Not to mention, the food is excellent and plentiful, with reasonable prices. No question, we'll be back. Also in the winter!

One evening We visited the Steinbach wine house in June 2020 and booked several tables with a large international group. Very good and competent service and very excellent cuisine, plus a wonderful ambience and friendly, attentive service. A perfect evening.

The Steinbach wine house has become even more beautiful after the renovation. The food is very good, the wine selection well thought out and the service courteous. Summer evenings can be perfectly enjoyed in the courtyard!

Preserve the old - create the new Here in the newly opened Steinbach wine house, this has been extremely successful. I was there with my wife for the first time after the reopening and we were thrilled. Much of what we have been fond of for decades has been retained - a lot of the furnishings, a lot of the menu, a lot of wines. A lot has also been changed positively - new counter area, new kitchen equipment, some new dishes. All in all, for those who have been guests there for many years as well as for those who have never been there, it is a place to (and should) go. Oh yes - in addition to all this, the staff and their management should be emphasized - very friendly, competent and courteous.

Very nice terrace. Great variety of white wines which are served really cold. I had the rumpsteak and it was delicious. Highly recommended. There's also kids menu

Excellent service and food, very friendly. Gluten-free and lactose-free food is served upon request. The food was very tasty. A small minus that can be easily improved: There were ash trays inside the restaurant on one of the table in the restaurant near the entrance to the restaurant room. They clearly do not belong to a restaurant.
